Our chief application, PrestoPass, is a Web-based physical payment platform for e-commerce that:

• Identifies and authenticates customers physically – without typing
• Integrates with payment functions for simple, secure transacting
• Enables customization of the customer experience, both online and at retail

Presto uniquely identifies and authenticates users based on information provided in a radio frequency chip called a PrestoTag. When a consumer waves their PrestoPass near a PrestoPad reader, the PrestoPad securely transmits this information---and the reader's location---to Presto's servers.  Presto’s system matches this data with relevant user and merchant information to initiate context-specific actions, including customized services, orders, and payment.

Presto benefits consumers because it allows them to:

• Save time and effort - no need to remember URLs, user names, or passwords; no rekeying billing information; no more waiting in line at retail.
• Get what they want, through personalized services and promotions, tailored to preferences and context.
• Feel more secure shopping online, knowing that the Presto platform verifies the physical presence of your credit card.
• Streamline payment devices --- With a single card or key tag, Presto replaces multiple credit cards, store affinity cards, and promotional coupons.

Presto's service, including the home mouse pad reader, will be provided to consumers free of charge. Presto plans a wide-scale launch of its system in the near future.
